TORRAVAL in Tecnofrío 2019

The Congress on Refrigeration technologies will take place at the Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineers of the Polytechnic of Madrid from the  16th  and 18th of october

Tecnofrío’19 will focus on how to improve the energy efficiency of cold installations.

The congress will be divided into 4 sessions:

1.- The effects of  F-Gas Regulation, including: forecast of the HFC demand until and after 2030, the new relationship of reduction of fluorinated gas emissions and European and international standards on the transition to alternative refrigerants.

2.- The best and most advanced technologies and solutions in commercial refrigeration and cold industry. Prioritizing energy efficiency and supporting the implementation of renewable energy.

3.-Security in refrigeration installations in the different autonomous communities.

4.-Finally, the latest advances in large industrial refrigeration facilities that have been developed will be discussed, both in applied technology and in the usual control and maintenance practices. Evolution in the NH3 and CO2 facilities and discussion about the working parameters in operation of  refrigeration plants, as well as the technological advances that help to achieve improvements in energy efficiency in plants and achieve higher levels of safety.

Julio Ausín García, technical director of TORRAVAL Cooling, will speak as speaker in this fourth session with the paper “Adiabatic cooling in cold storage of food. Use in retrofit of existing plants and with new technologies.
