Retrofit of cooling towers in industrial plants
Adapting cooling towers to new working conditions, making obsolete and inefficient equipments become fully efficient and adapted to the reality of the plant once again is a challenge that we usually face.
Julio Ausín, technical director of TORRAVAL will offer the virtual meeting organized by the Association of Cold Companies and their Technologies (AEFYT), entitled Retrofit of Cooling Towers in Industrial Facilities on January the 21st from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
We usually find cooling systems based on evaporative towers in the industrial world . On many occasions, these equipments were designed for specific needs that have changed significantly over time.
During the meeting it will be explained how this trend means that current use of cooling towers is far from being carried out at its optimum point. Therefore, many problems are generated associated with poor cooling for current needs, or in most cases overcooling with significant negative consequences for energy efficiency and waste of electricity and water.
