The working principle: the fluid to be cooled circulates inside the tubes that form the coil of the heat exchanger, located inside the cooling tower. The coil is continuously moistened with water from the tower pool, which is driven into the spray system by a pump installed in the tower.
Once the fluid has cooled, thanks to the combined effects of the evaporation of a small part of the sprayed water and the turbulence created within the tubes, it can be returned to the customer’s equipment.
