We have recently completed a comprehensive revamping project of a small cooling tower. This project was carried out with the objective of significantly improving the performance and extending the service life of the cooling equipment.
What does revamping consist of?
The revamping of a cooling tower consists of a complete renovation of its internal and external components, with the objective of restoring its original operation and adapting it to new needs.
Step by step of the work carried out for our customer
- Replacement of the droplet separator: a new droplet separator has been installed, which improves water quality by reducing the amount of droplets entrained in the air flow. This not only increases the efficiency of the system, but also minimizes water loss.
- Pool cleaning: A thorough cleaning of the tower pool has been performed to remove scale and accumulated debris. This process is essential to optimize heat exchange and improve the cooling process.
- Engine bed sanitation and painting: The engine bed has been sanitized and painted. This action prevents corrosion and improves the aesthetic appearance, ensuring greater durability of the equipment.
- Engine shim replacement: new engine shims have been installed to ensure precise alignment, resulting in more efficient operation.
- Installation of a new motor: a new, more efficient and durable motor has been installed, along with stainless steel hardware.
- Installation of a new fan assembly: a new fan assembly has been installed to optimize airflow and reduce noise levels, improving both cooling efficiency and equipment acoustics.
